• The Heritage

    • Corato

Have you brushed up on your Latin lately? If not, repeat after us: cor sine labe doli, cor sine labe doli.

The phrase, which translates to “a heart with no betrayal blemish,” originates on the armorial shield of Corato, Italy -- the birthplace of the founder of the brand that shares the epithet.

And [our] Cor Sine Labe Doli certainly holds true to its meaning; each accessory it artisanally produces strives to actively preserve the authenticity of its native city’s elegant fashion tradition - while also offering cool new flair.

  • The Reinvention

Cor Sine Labe Doli launched their trademark papillon in hopes of breathing new life into the Italian men’s fashion staple that was for so long associated with sober adult style.

To expand upon the shapes and materials used in manufacturing the classic bowtie, the brand adopted what they refer to as "the mindset of a child," incorporating "simplicity, innocence, curiosity, doubts, questions and answers, insolence, irregularity, and no rules or mind schemes," in the design.

The product? Hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind neckwear for all. “Fashion must be free,” Cor Sine Labe Doli says. “[It must be] suitable for everyone; adaptable for all languages, culture, history, and personalities.”
