Meet the Designer

The Transience is a collection of essential travel bags and small leather goods conceived in 2013 by British designer Sarah Clarkson for an "on the move" lifestyle. Each bag is hand cut and sewn, one piece at a time, in the designer's New York City studio using fine quality leathers and fabrics, Riri zippers, and Italian hardware. The use of traditional and non-traditional construction techniques heavily influence the contemporary, geometric aesthetic of the label.

From Les Assorties': Founded in 2013 by British designer Sarah Clarkson, The Transience is a luxury leather goods company specializing in handbags, carryalls and travel bags that suit the lifestyle and demanding needs of commuters and people who are always on the go.
